Jon F Burchell

Jon completed his Bachelor of Commerce at Deakin in Warrnambool in 2002, continuing his professional studies thereafter, Jon attained CPA status in 2008 before moving back to Warrnambool where his was born and bred. Jon joined the team at FM Mahar & Associates in 2009 and became a partner in 2013. Jon enjoys working with small business clients and has an extensive knowledge of self-managed superannuation fund accounting, taxation and compliance matters.

Away from the office Jon enjoys the outdoors, maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle through surfing and running in addition, Jon is an avid cross-fitter. Jon is also involved with the Taksenkangbloung Community Centre, an Australian not-for-profit based in Warrnambool which assists disadvantaged Cambodian children and their families with education and other basic needs.
